Happened last night. I didn’t take anything to help me fall asleep. I had a dream that I was camping in either west Texas or New Mexico. The deer that I hit a few days ago was actually in this dream. It was in the distance, looking right at me as if to be making sure I was ok. It was standing to the front left of me, and when I turned around, Artemis was to the back right of me, and she was stalking the deer. (And yes in the dream I “knew” it was the exact same deer that I hit with my car in real life a few days ago).
Just like when I had a couple of Artemis dreams in the past, she appeared to be indigenous American instead of Greek. In this dream, she made eye contact with me. I started to lunge at her as if to try and stop her from killing the deer (that I already killed lol) but as I was about to sort of jump her, she grabbed me in an embrace. It was super weird. She sort of picked me up on my feet when I would have fallen from lunging at her.
Then there was literally a whole ass conversation between her and me, but I woke up not remembering any of it.
I spent most of today with total apathy. I mean, I still went to work and did my job. But I came home on my 7 hour break and just laid around. I didn’t do shit. I don’t know what that dream was about, but all I could feel today was that I didn’t care much about anything. Numb wasn’t the right word though.
I’m not trying to figure out “what the dream meant” or anything. I’m just recording it here in case I figure out later what it meant. I know it had to “mean” something. .
