I’m currently making bathroom rugs out of a hot glue gun and denim seams that were cut off of the jeans from 25 cent day that I cut up for denim chenille quilts. This is the first one, and it’s about 50% bigger now. I also started a second one for in front of the tub, which is about 3/4 this size so far. I’m pretty sure I’ll have just enough thick denim side seams and hot glue sticks for both! The instructions I read online said to periodically stick a straight pin through the side of the circle. I don’t think I want to do that. I don’t want to step on pins. So I just did more glue than the guy in the instructions did.
There is another more complicated denim seam kitchen or bathroom rug technique where you use a zigzag stitch. Maybe I’ll do that one next time.

Ingenious! Waste not, want not.
