It might be because I've received my first hater when it comes to my writing, posted about below- my mother’s godmother’s granddaughter. No DNA relation, but in the Greek Orthodox church, your godparents are considered family. So I guess she'd be my “godcousin” if that was a thing.
For some reason, it was tough today. I couldn't seem to do inventory to save my life. Of course, I still did it though. Nothing was scanning at the first store at all. When that happens, the general rule (at this chain anyway) is to just scan a similarly priced item. Other chains are more strict. I was doing the candy aisle. The boss said it was “because he was never sent the file for this store”, which didn't make sense. After all, all stores have the candy items. I kind of yelled out in frustration that nothing was scanning and the boss's wife said, “Just scan the next one and count it as that.” I was fuming. And how am I going to do that when ZERO things are scanning? I wanted to yell, “I know you hear all this beeping!” but I restrained myself. She's one of those people that if you are mad at her, you're instantly in trouble just because.
I also didn't feel well at all. I was having heart palpitations. Those have calmed down the last couple months but today they started up again. It's not something I can tell anyone about either, because they'll say “go to the emergency room.”
The emergency room will look for a heart attack and other cardio problems and when they find none, they call it anxiety. Which would be fine except they consider anxiety causing cardio symptoms to be a mental health emergency, and you might end up in a psych ward for two weeks. That's the last thing I need, and it really puts a lot of people in a hard spot if they have chest pains or tachycardia. You end up afraid to go to the er. The downside is that you might die.
Here's hoping tomorrow will be a better day!
